Bio

Gala was born in Vilnius, Lithuania, from a Russian mother and a Panamanian father, jamaican and jewish blood runs through her veins.

The design is in her genes.  Her father, who also worked as a tailor while studying economics in Moscow, managed to breath a new style in the cold Moscow fashion scene well before the Perestroïka.  From an early age, she cultivated her passion for art. With a former classical ballet dancer mother, she get fascinated by music, dance and travel.

When she turned eight, she destroyed her mother’s jeans, to seankle boots for her little brother. At school, she was quite a diligent student, but always dreamy … She was already drawing fashion sketches between two classes.

Gala comes from two continents, America and Europe, and she has lived in seven different countries, with a nomadic and multicultural spirit. When she graduated from business studies in Paris, then she knew with greater certainty that her professional career will be different, and the rest is history …
